2014 Outlook

Offense – The Highlanders return one of the most experienced in the state in Cole Butaud and have more than enough talent around. Butaud has led the Highlanders to some big wins in the past. He is poised for a big season. There is exciting potential in Joe Moisant as a forward. Alex Wartes, Matthew Morris and Matthew Moisant will standout in the midfield.

Defense – Aidan Walsh will be the main man defensively after standout defender Russell Hatcher has graduated. There is experience in goal with Paul Johnson protecting the net.

Final Evaluation – The Highlanders, with depth and experience, are ready to battle again. This team always has the potential to be a factor in the Northwest League race and, with Butaud and the talent around him, they will be again in 2014.
