2013 Rankings

– Offense –1st in League, 4th in State

– Defense –1st in League, 4th in State

2014 Outlook

Offense – The offense will rise or fall based on the performance of midfielders Jeremiah Lee and Drew Ridewood. Lee, the defending WSC Player of the Year, and Ridewood, an All-State Player in 2013, are both skilled and seasoned and will again be on field leaders. Austin Likes and Hunter Corbett may be the surprise names for the Eagles this fall. The midfield has the chance to be the best in the State.

Defense – The defense was very good in 2013 and will have to make up for some graduations to be that good again. The Eagles lost defensive player of the year Joshua Lee to graduation. Joe Zak will lead the way defensively. The goalkeeping position is set with Isaiah Van Dam returning for his fourth year as a starter.

Final Evaluation – The Eagles have traveled to the state tournament each of the last three season, making it the best three-year run in school history. The schedule is as tough this year as it was last season. If Lee and Ridewood play like they did last season and solid reinforcements in midfield and defense  are identified, a return trip to State is a realistic goal.
